Forterra is a non-profit agency focused on working for healthy ecosystems and resilient communities across Washington. Their motto is “Land for Good.” Partnering with other organizations and cities, Forterra is breaking the mold when it comes to defining what it means to be green! Nicole Marcotte, Green Cities Project Manager for Forterra, will tell us about Forterra and the Green Shoreline Partnership which supports long-term restoration and maintenance of Shoreline’s parks and natural areas. The goal of the Green Shoreline Partnership is to restore 240 acres of Shoreline’s forested parks and natural areas by 2039. Let’s give a warm Shoreline Rotary welcome to Nicole Marcotte!
